AMHS Robotics (FRC 1351)

I was a founding member of the Archbishop Mitty High School Robotics Team.  For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Robotics Competition (FRC) is a multinational competition with hundreds of teams.  I built robots that did pull ups, hoisted pieces ten feet in the air, and shot balls into a target.  I was fortunate enough to have shared my talents with, and learned a great deal from, a group of excellent teammates and mentors.  Having graduated, sometimes I still check in on Team 1351 and offer help in the form of machining and engineering guidance.  Presented below is a magazine article from my senior year that helps paint a picture of AMHS Robotics.
